Film-faced and furniture plywood, documented for Europe.

In short
Thanh Minh Plywood is a Vietnamese plywood manufacturer in Ha Hoa, Phu Tho, and a major producer of cost-effective film-faced plywood exported to Europe.
The mill makes furniture, interior and commercial plywood alongside its film-faced line, holds FSC® certification in its own name (FSC-C224550) for FSC® 100% and FSC Mix plywood, and has a capacity of more than 50,000 m³ a year.

Lead product
Cost-effective here means the right build for the job, not a weaker panel. Acacia or Eucalyptus cores, phenolic film pressed on both faces and edges sealed against water, specified to the number of pours your sites need.
A 40HC holds about 47 m³ of Acacia-core or 43 m³ of Eucalyptus-core film-faced plywood.
Furniture and interior plywood
White Styrax cores keep furniture plywood light and the edges clean. Cores are stitched on the outer layers, panels are pressed twice and sanded smooth, ready for lacquer, laminate or UV coating at the customer's line.

Face veneers
The face names the panel. These are the faces most often pressed at Thanh Minh; Gurjan, Sapele and other veneers are available on request.

Pale cream with soft, wavy figure.
Furniture, visible interiors
Near-white, plain and even.
Painted and laminated furniture
Soft pinkish-beige, gentle figure.
Interiors, joinery
Reddish-brown, fine interlocked grain.
Commercial plywood
Light pinkish-brown, close grain.
Commercial and general use
Straight, uniform grain; walnut-look, oak-look and more.
Doors, panelling, furniture fronts
Pale honey with cathedral figure.
Shopfitting, visible furnitureFrom the press floor
Daylight shots of sheet faces, glue lines and bundled stock. We crop for framing and leave colour and grain as they are.

Cores and construction
Three plantation cores, chosen for the job, and the steps that keep a panel flat and closed.

Pale and lightweight. Our choice for furniture and interior panels where sheet weight matters.
Firm and stable: the standard core for film-faced and commercial plywood.
Dense and stiff, for heavier use and strong screw holding.

Origin
Acacia, Eucalyptus and Styrax are planted on the hills around the mill, so core logs reach the peeling line from close by. Because the logs come from known plots, an EU order can carry its due-diligence file with plot coordinates alongside the FSC claim.
How an order is made
Face, core, glue, emission, film, size, thickness and packing confirmed before production.
Core and face veneers sorted by grade for the product line.
Cross-laid layers assembled; outer layers stitched on furniture plywood.
Cold pre-press, hot press, face or film applied and pressed again.
Calibration, sanding or film trimming, edge sealing, cutting to size.
Sheet-by-sheet check of thickness, face and edges before strapping.

A full 40HC. Most buyers load a single product or a pair, for example film-faced plus a furniture panel; a wider mix is possible if we agree it before production.
A 30% advance by bank transfer starts production; the remaining 70% is paid when we send the B/L copy. An irrevocable sight L/C also works. We quote FOB Hai Phong, CFR or CIF to your port.
